Heartwarming Act of Solidarity: TNI Habema Task Force Shares Food with Kago Village Community

PUNCAK - In a heartfelt gesture of unity and compassion, the Infantry Battalion Task Force (Satgas Yonif) Raider 323/White Buaya Kostrad, operating under the HABEMA Operations Command in Papua, carried out a food-sharing initiative with the residents of Kago Village, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua, on Monday (2/17/2025). This initiative, part of the RI-PNG Mobile Border Security Operation, reflects the commitment of White Buaya Kostrad soldiers to fostering strong ties with the local community.

With unwavering enthusiasm, the soldiers personally distributed food to villagers passing in front of the Kosatgas Strong Point. This simple yet meaningful act brought smiles to the faces of the residents, creating a warm and familial atmosphere that resonated with the spirit of togetherness and solidarity.

Beyond merely sharing food, the initiative served as a bridge to strengthen communication and trust between the TNI and the local community. "We want to be present among the people, not just as security personnel but as part of their daily lives, ready to support them in any way we can, " said Second Lieutenant Chk Dani Gunawan, the Task Force Pasiter leading the activity. He emphasized that these efforts aim to reinforce the strong bond between the TNI and the people they serve.

The residents of Kago Village warmly welcomed the initiative, expressing their appreciation for the soldiers’ kindness. Mama Yeremia Murib, one of the beneficiaries, shared her gratitude, saying, "I am very happy and grateful to the TNI. They not only protect us but also genuinely care about our well-being. This food is a great help to my family."
